Personality

     Prior to beating Walker, Daerius had some serious anger issues that likely stemmed from his own personal insecurities. After he “beat” Walker, his own ego defense mechanism went into overdrive and he proclaimed himself the greatest martial artist in the world.
     It doesn’t matter that no one else believes this or gives him any respect because Daerius’ ego will work overtime to do mental gymnastics and backward-rationalize everything to keep his delusions of grandeur intact.
