Personality
Brave, compassionate, caring, honest, loyal, outgoing, bright, confident, ambitious, proud, pragmatic, self centered, and resourceful. Kasu’s stated to be basically an enigma—except possibly more self-centered. A good way to desrcibe her is think of a much classier, brunette version of Charisma Carpenter. Although beneath her shallow and vain exterior is a girl that does have a caring and compassionate side—although she rarely shows it. She doesn’t really talk much and her motives for most of her story are quite often never fully explained.
Kasu is usually full of catty comments and superior attitude. During the early version of Mike Wolf’s career, she served as Ryoko's social rival, and Kyleia’s bully. Generally, she enjoyed the wealth, status, and privilege she had. Because of her position, she felt perfectly justified in expressing her opinion, not realizing that others might react negatively to her attitude.
It's not that Kasu didn’t have "layers," but she usually preferred not to acknowledge them. She liked the big-fish-in-a-small-pond life she had in the Galaxy Police, and once actually blamed Mike Wolf for wrecking what she had by introducing her to the reality of supernatural threats. Indeed, for most of her time in the storyline, Kasu usually had to choose between maintaining her governmental status and doing the right thing. And while she usually chose to do the right thing in the end, she never stopped complaining about it. Nevertheless, either due to love of adventure, love of Mike, or a well-hidden conscience, Kasu kept getting involved with the AVATAR’s cases.
